A First For CRZyBest

Exactly a week ago today CRZyBest (that's me!) embarked on her first ever collaborative photo shoot!

An amazing venture organised by Tying the Nott in a build up to their amazing alternative wedding fair next March with quirky and colourful styling executed by The Wedding Alchemist. What an exciting day, with butterflies, a few nerves (where was I going?) and lots of sweets consumed courtesy of a tasty sweetie trolley provided for the shoot by That Black & White Cat., who also created a fabulously colourful pom pom wall! If you were wondering... yes, I created a pastel sweetie rainbow bouquet with tiny sculptures especially for this amazing event! More about that later...

As for 'where did I go?' a most wonderful building that has managed to mix state of the art modern features with the original Gothic Revival Architecture creating an amazing space and backdrop for our Tying the Nott photo shoot last week and wedding fair for unique, colourful and creative couples at Nottingham High School 3rd March 2019.

Meeting and working collaboratively with some awesome people in the alternative wedding industry made for a wonderful day and best of all I got to experience a whole variety of creative people working together to make this ever so slightly unconventional wedding shoot look stunning! In particular being able to work with a fellow alternative bouquet creator Flipside Bride, was such an amazing opportunity as although we both create bespoke, alternative bridal bouquets our style and materials are very different and because of this they made a great pairing for showing off unique wedding ideas, check out one of my favourite photos...

If you were wondering mine is the sparkly one with ribbon and the funky felt one is by Flipside Bride.

Those gorgeous painted jackets are by the talented Ophelia Rose Hand Painted and looked awesome on our two brides!

We were lucky enough to have two great photographers Stephanie Butt and David Fuller who both took a different approach to capturing the whole day with everything from exquisite close ups to wide angle building shots and great behind the scenes documentary footage of how the whole day came together.

I think that's enough for my first blog about last week... keep an eye out for the next instalment and remember, I can create a lot more than I could ever show on my CRZyBest website or Etsy shop CRZyAccessories, so if you are thinking about something, just ask and I will create something especially for you!
