• My CRZyBest Shedquarters: the creative space where things happen was built by Green Retreats, it is a certified ClimateCare Climate Aware Company that creates ethical and sustainable garden workshops (Goal 13)

Materials (Goal 12)

 

• Metal clay is an eco friendly material being made of reclaimed metals and an organic binder that burns away during the firing process  

 

• Swarovski® are an environmentally friendly company that are committed to working towards all the United Nations Sustainable Development goals, unfortunately Swarovski stopped making their individual crystals in Spring 2021

​

• Preciosa® whose crystals I have been using more of since 2021 fund many ethical and environmental initiatives on both regionally and nationally in the Czech Republic

​

• Many of my tools and materials I source as locally and independently a s possible. My favourite shops are Cooksongold and  The Bead Shop in Nottingham

​

• Cooksongold have made a great commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability, find out more about all their policies here, particularly their recycled silver and ethically sourced precious metals, including metal clay

Packaging (Goal 12)

​

• My CRZyBest gift boxes are created by The Tiny Box company and are made from recycled materials with an eco friendly inner. Check out their eco tips here

• My business cards and my postcards that you will find in your parcels and at events I attend, are made using unbleached, unlaminated recycled card, so if you wish, you can compost my business literature!

​

• All the packaging that you receive in the post from me is either compostable, re-usable or recycled

​

• I am a firm believer that a sprinkle of glitter brings a shower of happiness and the glitter that comes in your parcel is from Eco Glitter Fun a certified Bio Glitter® reseller

• With a strong belief that ethical marketing is the way forward, I am signed up to the Ethical Moves pledge a movement that believes the way we sell can change the world, with transparency and honesty

Giving Back

​

• CRZyBest is a proud partner of One Tree Planted a nonprofit organisation dedicated to global reforestation. Every time you purchase from CRZyBest, you will be planting a tree too (Goal 15)

• I'm a voluntary worker for Inspiring the Future, going into schools to support careers and options days (Goal 4)

​

• I'm a volunteer Changemaker for Derby City Lab, promoting the positive regeneration of our city (Goals 9 & 11)

​

• To support animal conservation projects, CRZyBest currently sponsors an Orangutan at Twycross Zoo. The Orangutan was chosen in poll a by CRZyBest followers on social media  (Goal 15)

  

• Supporting the vision of a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and wildlife, I am a member of The Woodland Trust (Goal 15)

• I am a lifetime member of the National Trust, supporting nature, wildlife, landscape and heritage (Goal 15)

• I am a regular contributor to local Radio discussions, often these discuss and promote well-being (Goal 3)

• CRZyBest is in partnership with a local Community Interest Company Derby Uncovered to help promote local heritage and support the circular economy

• I am the Derby host for People Planet Pint (Goal 17)
